Let me preface this section with: How cool is it that I have a FAQ tab?  I feel like I've hit it big time.

Except for the fact that I made the tab on my own...and my definition of frequently = about once or twice.

Moving On.

1.  How much do your cookies cost? 

     A.  I am currently charging $2.25 / cookie or $2.50 / cookie depending on the cookie size if you place the order more than two weeks ahead of time.  (Unless you are family) or have a really challenging design request.  If you place an order with a week or less notice, they are $3.00/cookie.  Character Cookies are $3.00/cookie.  I

2.  How many cookies come in an order?

     A.  However many you need.  I can usually get about 30 cookies out of one batch.  I can always find a  use for extra cookies if you don't need that many and I can always double/triple, etc. the amount of batches I make to fit your needs.

3.  Are there design limitations? 

     A.  Nope.  If the orderer (is that a word?) and I can come up with a design concept, I'm willing to give it a try.  I do; however, reserve the right to make minor tweaks and changes along the way, depending on what will work/look the best.

4.  How about your cakes/cupcakes?

     A.  Yikes.  Are you seriously interested in those? 

5.  Seriously, how much do you charge for a cake?

     A.  I'm currently not taking orders for cakes or cupcakes. 

6.  How do you figure out your prices?

     A.  I base it on fairness.  I make sure the cost of my materials are covered.  Then add just a bit more for my time and to make it worthwhile to not sit down for hours on end.

7.  How long does it take to make a batch of cookies?

     A.  It depends on design difficulty, number of cookies, how many icing colors I have to use, etc.  But roughly, a minimum of four days-about 3-5 hours/day.

8.  How do you package your cookies?

     A.  I prefer using the individual cellophane bags tied with a cute ribbon and maybe adding a charm or other doo-da.  But, if you have a platter you want to use and don't want them individually wrapped, that's fine with me.

9.  Do you ship your cookies?

     A.  I've shipped my cookies on several occasions.  99% of the time they arrive unbroken, but I have mild anxiety about not being able to control that.  I'd prefer to have them dropped off or picked up, but if you're willing to chance shipping them, then so am I.  ( I will add the amount of shipping to your total.)  I do not take responsibility for cookies broken during the shipping responsibility.  

10.  Do they taste as good as they look?

      A.  Rumor has it, they're delicious.  I try not to eat many of them, because you would never get your order then!  But the ones I have tasted were super, duper yummy.  Think Eat n'Park Smiley Face cookie.  What? You've never heard of Eat n' Park?????  Look them up online and order some of those cookies now! :)

11.  Do you really think you were fooling us?  We know people haven't asked you all these questions.

       A.  You're right.  You figured me out.  I came up with a list of questions that 1) I would want to know if I were about to buy some yummy cookies and 2) I hope I get asked someday :)
