A few weeks ago, Cristin asked me to be a part of a cookie cutter challenge. I made the decision to accept the challenge and I'm so happy I did. I think one of the neatest things about cookie decorating is seeing how people envision the exact same cookie cutter.

When I saw the cookie cutter, immediately Little Miss Sunshine came to mind. She needed a Christmas bow in her hair, of course.
Then I sent my sisters the picture of the cookie cutter and asked them what they saw.
They responded: a bee, a girl minion, a little girl, and Boo from Monsters, Inc.
When I told my sisters that I saw Little Miss Sunshine, they informed me that was too old for them to know. Great. I'm getting old.
Boo won from their ideas.
Merry almost Christmas!

The only time I ever get sad about cookie decorating being only a side hobby for me is when I realize the only time I have to take pictures is at night. Having a full time job definitely limits my picture taking time. Natural lighting is everything when it comes to a good photograph and these photos were taken around 10:30 at night.
Sigh. Oh well.

ReplyDeleteI love your Boo cookie! Of course, we named our first cat after her, so I'm a bit biased. Wish we were closer so I could order some of your fabulous cookies.
